Job Description

As an Electrical Engineering Manager at TE, you will lead a team of product development specialists to contribute to creating a safer, sustainable, and more connected world. You will oversee various aspects of hardware design, testing, validation, and manufacturing documentation to ensure high-quality deliverables. Your role will involve collaborating with multidisciplinary engineering teams, suppliers, and manufacturing partners to drive innovation and meet customer requirements. Key Responsibilities: - Derive hardware requirements from system-level specifications and architectures - Develop and maintain high-level hardware concepts and architectures - Create schematics and layouts using Altium Designer for high-voltage and high-current applications - Perform circuit simulations and hardware integration tests - Ensure designs are optimized for manufacturability, cost efficiency, and assembly - Prepare comprehensive documentation including design packages, test reports, and end-of-line requirements - Contribute to market research and competitor benchmarking to guide design decisions and cost structures Qualifications Required: - 8+ years of electrical engineering experience in automotive high-voltage (HV) applications - Proficiency in Altium Designer for PCB schematic and layout development - Experience with embedded systems and microcontroller-based hardware designs - Strong expertise in high-voltage system design and compliance standards - Familiarity with automotive communication protocols such as CAN, LIN, Automotive Ethernet, SPI, JTAG, WiFi - Hands-on experience with Vector tools like CANoe and CANalyzer - Demonstrated ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary engineering teams and support project planning and analysis - Technical expertise in hardware domain knowledge and application engineering - Strategic agility in identifying technology trends and leveraging global capabilities - Engineering leadership in managing cross-functional efforts and aligning designs with market direction - Innovation focus on driving product improvements through R&D - People development skills in mentoring engineers and building organizational capability - Quality focus in ensuring compliance, testing rigor, and high-quality deliverables As an Electrical Engineering Manager at TE, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse team and contribute to creating a safer and more connected world.
