Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

1. Production Operations

Monitor and manage insulation production lines to meet daily/weekly targets.
Ensure proper execution of production plans and adherence to work instructions.
Allocate manpower based on production requirements and skill levels.
Coordinate with PPC and maintenance teams for smooth workflow and minimal downtime.

2. Quality & Process Control

Implement and monitor quality checks at each production stage.
Ensure production of defect-free insulation parts as per customer specifications.
Identify process deviations and take corrective/preventive actions.
Collaborate with the Quality department for audits and NCR closures.

3. Manpower Supervision

Supervise operators, helpers, and contract workforce on shop floor.
Train and guide the team on standard operating procedures (SOPs), quality standards, and safety practices.
Monitor discipline, punctuality, and performance of team members.

4. Safety & Compliance

Ensure adherence to all safety protocols and promote a safe working environment.
Conduct regular 5S, safety rounds, and implement necessary improvements.
Ensure machines and equipment are operated in accordance with safety guidelines.

5. Documentation & Reporting

Maintain production reports, downtime records, and shift logs.
Share daily production MIS with management.
Ensure proper documentation and traceability for all insulation components.

6. Continuous Improvement

Suggest and drive KAIZEN, 5S, and cost-saving initiatives.
Optimize resources to reduce wastage and improve efficiency.
Participate in process improvements and new product trials.
