Supervisor/ House keeping / Maintenance

As a Housekeeping Manager, you will be responsible for supervising day-to-day housekeeping activities in various hospital areas such as wards, ICUs, OTs, and OPDs. Your primary tasks will include ensuring cleanliness, sanitation, and adherence to disinfection protocols. You will also be in charge of monitoring cleaning schedules, assigning duties to staff, and conducting routine inspections to uphold hygiene standards. In addition to housekeeping management, you will oversee Biomedical Waste (BMW) management procedures. This includes ensuring proper segregation, collection, labeling, and storage of biomedical waste in compliance with CPCB/BMW 2016 guidelines. You will also be responsible for training housekeeping staff on safe handling and disposal practices, coordinating with authorized waste disposal vendors, and maintaining BMW logs, transport records, and compliance documents. Furthermore, you will be involved in maintenance coordination by reporting electrical, plumbing, and infrastructure issues to the maintenance team. You will assist in coordinating basic repairs and ensuring timely follow-up to maintain public and patient areas in good condition. Your role will also entail staff supervision and training. You will monitor the attendance, performance, and discipline of housekeeping staff, conduct regular briefings, and provide on-the-job training sessions. Addressing grievances and ensuring staff adherence to hospital policies and procedures will be essential aspects of your responsibilities. Moreover, you will be responsible for maintaining documentation and ensuring compliance with infection control policies, NABH standards (if applicable), and safety protocols. This includes keeping cleaning checklists, BMW records, and daily reports up to date. This is a full-time position with a day shift preferred. The work location will be in person at the hospital premises.,
