Sunroof System Lead Design Lead

As a highly skilled Sunroof System Design Engineer with 6 to 12 years of experience, your role will involve leading the design and development of sunroof systems for passenger vehicles. You should have a strong knowledge of sunroof mechanisms, homologation standards, and manufacturing processes to drive engineering activities from concept to production efficiently. Key Responsibilities: - Lead the design and development of sunroof systems, encompassing mechanical, sealing, and actuation components. - Ensure compliance with global homologation and safety regulations throughout the design process. - Collaborate effectively with styling, body engineering, and manufacturing teams for seamless system integration. - Create and validate CAD models, drawings, and Bills of Materials (BOMs) to support the development process. - Conduct design reviews, Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA), and provide support for prototype development and testing. Qualifications Required: - B.E. in Mech/Automotive/Production - Proficiency in CAD tools, with CATIA V5 preferred - 6 to 12 years of experience in automotive sunroof system design - Strong understanding of vehicle integration and packaging constraints - Good communication and documentation skills Additional Company Details: You will be working in a dynamic environment that values innovation, collaboration, and excellence in automotive engineering.
