Your primary focus will be on mechanical, sealing, and actuation components of the sunroof system. It is essential that you possess a strong knowledge of sunroof mechanisms, homologation standards, and manufacturing processes. To be successful in this role, you must have a minimum of 6 to 12 years of experience in automotive sunroof system design. A B.E. degree in Mech/Automotive/Production is required for this position. Early joiners are preferred for this role. Your key responsibilities will include ensuring compliance with global homologation and safety regulations, collaborating with styling, body engineering, and manufacturing teams for system integration, creating and validating CAD models, drawings, and BOMs, conducting design reviews, DFMEA, and supporting prototype development and testing. You should have proficiency in CAD tools, with CATIA V5 being preferred. Additionally, you must have a strong understanding of vehicle integration and packaging constraints. Good communication and documentation skills are also essential for this role.
