Sunroof System Lead Design Lead

You are a highly skilled Sunroof System Design Engineer with 6 to 12 years of experience in the design and development of sunroof systems for passenger vehicles. Your role involves leading the engineering activities from concept to production, ensuring compliance with global homologation and safety regulations, and collaborating with different teams for system integration. Your responsibilities include leading the design and development of sunroof systems, creating and validating CAD models, drawings, and BOMs, conducting design reviews and DFMEA, and supporting prototype development and testing. You should have a strong understanding of manual and motorized actuation systems, guide rails, drive cables, glass panel design, sealing systems, drainage, water management systems, anti-pinch and safety features, NVH, thermal, and durability aspects of sunroof systems, as well as experience in homologation and regulatory compliance. To excel in this role, you need to have 6 to 12 years of experience in automotive sunroof system design, proficiency in CAD tools (CATIA V5 preferred), a strong understanding of vehicle integration and packaging constraints, and good communication and documentation skills. Your educational background should include a B.E. in Mech/Automotive/Production, and early joiners are preferred for this position.,
