Job Summary:

We are looking for a committed and knowledgeable Economics teacher to teach secondary (TGT) and senior secondary (PGT) classes as per the CBSE curriculum. The role involves fostering a deep understanding of economic concepts, developing analytical thinking, and preparing students for board examinations and higher studies.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging Economics lessons in accordance with CBSE syllabus.

Teach classes from grades 9–10 (TGT) and grades 11–12 (PGT).

Prepare detailed lesson plans, assignments, and assessments.

Develop students’ understanding of microeconomics, macroeconomics, statistics, and related topics.

Integrate real-world economic examples, case studies, and current affairs into lessons.

Evaluate student progress and provide feedback to students and parents.

Prepare students for CBSE board examinations through regular practice tests and revision sessions.

Encourage participation in debates, projects, and commerce/economics-related competitions.

Maintain discipline and create a positive, inclusive learning environment.

Collaborate with colleagues for interdisciplinary learning and academic planning.

Qualifications & Skills:

Master’s degree in Economics or Applied Economics (B.Ed. mandatory for TGT; desirable for PGT).

Sound knowledge of CBSE curriculum and exam pattern.

Strong command of English and excellent communication skills.

Ability to explain complex concepts in an easy-to-understand manner.

Proficiency in digital teaching tools and smart board usage.

Experience:

2–3 years of teaching experience preferred; freshers with strong academic credentials may be considered.

Salary:

As per school norms and experience.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
