Substitute Teacher

Job Description: As a Proxy Teacher / Substitute Teacher at Sunflower School, you will be responsible for providing temporary teaching assistance in various classrooms and subject areas. Your role will involve quickly adapting to different lesson plans, managing classroom behavior, and effectively engaging students. Responsibilities: - Follow established lesson plans or create short, engaging lesson plans as needed. - Deliver instruction in a clear and effective manner, adapting to the specific needs of the students. - Ensure students understand the material being taught and provide assistance when needed. - Communicate effectively with the regular teacher, principal, and other staff. - Participate in school events and activities. - Perform other tasks as needed to support the school's mission. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience. - Experience working with students in an educational setting. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to quickly adapt to new situations and classroom environments. - Positive attitude and a commitment to student success.
