Role Overview
As a Business Writing & Financial Insights Specialist at Gallagher & Mohan, you will combine strong financial acumen with exceptional writing and communication skills to create impactful content that simplifies complex financial concepts. This role bridges analytical and creative thinkingsupporting internal and client-facing communication, financial documentation, and strategic storytelling within the real estate finance domain.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Financial Content Creation: Develop comprehensive financial documents including analyses, investor decks, reports, and insights for internal and client use.
- Business Writing & Documentation: Create, structure, and maintain business documents such as SOPs, FAQs, white papers, and thought leadership articles.
- Editing & Quality Assurance: Proofread and refine written materials for accuracy, clarity, and alignment with brand and compliance standards.
- Financial Insights Development: Collaborate with finance and asset management teams to interpret data, extract insights, and present findings through well-structured written and visual formats.
- Client Communication Support: Support the preparation of presentations and reports that clearly communicate investment performance and strategic recommendations.
- Digital & Multimedia Content: Contribute to scripting and editing of video or digital content related to financial education, market insights, or product features.
What We Are Looking For
Requirements Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:
- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or a related field.
- Writing Expertise: Proven experience in business or financial writing, ideally within real estate finance (preferred), asset management, or investment analysis.
- Financial Understanding: Strong grasp of real estate financial concepts, including asset valuation, financial modeling, and performance tracking.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to analyse and interpret financial data and translate insights into clear, concise, and engaging communication.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail, tone, and structure.
- Organization: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Collaboration: Proven ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams and maintain high communication standards.
Desired Qualifications
- Technical Skills: Working knowledge of SQL for data extraction and financial reporting.
- Financial Tools: Proficiency in Excel, with familiarity in Power BI or Tableau for data visualization.
- Industry Experience: Prior exposure to real estate finance, asset management, or financial research.
- Certifications: Additional qualifications such as CFA, FRM, or CA (completed or in progress) will be advantageous.
- Additional Skills: Understanding of compliance standards and industry regulations within the financial domain.
