Study Counselor

We are looking for a dedicated and knowledgeable Admission Coordinator to guide students through the complete study abroad journey. The ideal candidate should be confident in counseling students, managing university applications, and providing accurate visa and financial guidance for countries like UK, Canada, USA, and Australia.

This role requires honesty, clarity, and strong communication skills, as you will be responsible for shaping students’ academic and international futures.

Key ResponsibilitiesStudent Counseling & Profiling

• Counsel students regarding study options in UK, Canada, USA, and Australia based on:
• Academic background
• Financial capacity
• Career goals
• Visa success chances
• Suggest realistic and suitable course and university options.
• Clearly explain intakes, timelines, eligibility, and country-specific rules.

University Applications & Offer Letters

• Shortlist universities and courses aligned with student profiles.
• Prepare and submit accurate university applications.
• Coordinate with universities for:
• Offer letters
• Conditional/unconditional offers
• CAS/COE/I-20 issuance
• Ensure documentation is complete and error-free.

Visa Guidance & Interview Preparation

• Guide students through the complete visa application process.
• Prepare students for:
• Visa interviews (mock interviews, common questions)
• SOP/GTE/GS statements
• Keep students updated on latest visa rules, refusals trends, and embassy updates.
• Ensure ethical counseling—no false commitments or misguidance.

Financial Guidance

• Guide students on:
• Tuition fees
• Living expenses
• Bank balance requirements
• Education loans and sponsors
• Check and verify financial documents for visa compliance.
• Explain country-wise financial rules clearly and transparently.

Student Relationship & Follow-ups

• Maintain regular follow-ups with students from counseling to visa decision.
• Take feedback from students at every stage to improve service quality.
• Resolve student queries professionally and within timelines.
• Maintain strong post-offer and post-visa relations.

Documentation & Compliance

• Maintain proper student records and documentation.
• Ensure all processes follow immigration and university compliance standards.
• Update CRM or internal records accurately.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external partners when required.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in study abroad admissions or visa counseling (preferred).
• Knowledge of UK, Canada, USA, and Australia education systems.
• Strong communication and counseling skills.
• Ability to explain complex processes in a simple, honest manner.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work under deadlines and handle multiple cases.
• Proficiency in MS Office / CRM systems.
