As a Study Clinician (MBBS Doctor) at Mahim location, your role will involve being in touch with patients, consultants, residents, study authorities, coordinators, and data teams to provide timely medical assistance and ensure effective data collection for the study. You will be responsible for monitoring TB patients" adherence to the regimen, managing side effects, and guiding them on the next steps for investigations and treatment, including the dispensation of Bedaquilline and other drugs from RNTCP. **Key Responsibilities:** - Follow up with MDR TB patients to monitor and manage side effects caused by TB drugs - Attend to patients, ensuring they adhere to their treatment regime - Coordinate with patients, consultants, and data team to facilitate effective functioning - Monitor patient health and side effects through regular follow-ups or teleconsultations - Screen new MDR TB cases and guide them on enrollment criteria - Follow up with patients on MDR TB treatment, filling up study-specific visit CRFs - Provide guidance on managing side effects, adjusting TB medication dosages - Record patient adherence to drug regimen - Direct patients for required investigations and blood work - Record treatment outcomes for TB patients - Address all patient queries related to treatment If you are passionate about making a difference in TB patient care and possess an MBBS qualification, you can apply for this position or share your profile by emailing ankita.shetty@hindujahospital.com.
