Overview

Senior Tele-Counsellor

Office Location: Opposite Matunga West Railway Station

Key Responsibilities

Outbound Calling & Service Explanation

  • Call students from the provided database to inform them about our overseas education services.
  • Engage in meaningful conversations to understand students interests, needs, and aspirations for studying abroad.
  • Clearly communicate the benefits of our services, admission guidance, visa assistance
  • Handle initial questions and objections professionally and empathetically.

First-Level Counselling

  • Provide basic guidance to students about studying abroad, including university options, country preferences, and application timelines.
  • Build trust and credibility with prospective students during conversations.

Lead Conversion

  • Schedule virtual or in-person counselling sessions with the company owner.
  • Ensure that follow-up calls are made to confirm appointments and address any doubts before the session.

CRM & Database Maintenance

  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of student interactions and feedback in the CRM (Lead Squared).
  • Submit daily and weekly reports on calls made, leads converted, and counselling sessions scheduled.

Collaboration

  • Coordinate with the counselling team to ensure seamless follow-up on leads.
  • Work closely with the management to refine calling scripts and strategies.

Candidate Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years experience in a Study Abroad or Education related company.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills in English and Hindi (additional local languages are a plus).
  • Confident, proactive, empathetic, and persuasive.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and basic computer applications is preferred.
  • Minimum Bachelors degree completed.

Key Competencies

  • Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with students.
  • Ability to build relationships with students, understand their needs & handle objections
  • Maintain a good follow up strategy over the phone & WhatsApp to convert leads
