Position-Studio Engineer

Experience- 3-6 yrs

Location -Pune

Responsibilities-

• Act as an interface between Design and Engineering and be the face of Design.
• Work closely with the Designer, CAS and Clay modeler to ensure Engineering hard points/sections/criterias are understood and well incorporated
• Development of package data, package drawings, technical concepts and technical project information to enable the digital development process
• Work on counter proposals and contribute innovative ideas to support design intension
• Analysis of existing technology and feasibility methods in order to develop and propose novel technical directions with futuristic aspects for the implementation of exterior / interior design concepts
• Preparation of package and engineering related technical issues to check, explain and present the contents to the design team and management
• Concept validation through physical mockup/proto
• Benchmark competitor packages/solutions to support design intend
• Stay updated on new materials, manufacturing techniques, and automotive trends to push the boundaries of design and innovation.

Requirement-

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field.
• Ability to create technical solutions to Design challenges
• Excellent analytical skills as well as a problem-solving mentality
• Strong understanding of vehicle packaging, seats, instrument panel, console & door trim engineering
• Strong CAD skills (UG NX / ALIAS / ICEM)
• Ability to collaborate with designers, engineers, and manufacturing teams to develop feasible solutions.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a balance between technical feasibility and aesthetic design.
• Strong communication skills to present ideas and solutions to cross-functional teams.
• German Language will be added advantage.
• Bonus Skills: Experience with 3D printing, generative design, VR visualization, or advanced materials.
