A Freelance Student Recruitment Officer works independently to attract, engage, and enroll prospective students into educational programs. They collaborate with schools, colleges, universities, training institutes, and international education agencies to support enrollment goals. This role involves marketing, outreach, advising, and guiding students through the application process.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Student Outreach & Lead Generation

  • Identify and reach out to prospective students through online platforms, school visits, fairs, events, and community networks.
  • Develop recruitment strategies targeting specific demographics or regions.
  • Build a pipeline of qualified leads for client institutions.

2. Student Advising & Support

  • Provide accurate information on programs, admissions requirements, tuition fees, scholarships, and career outcomes.
  • Guide students through application steps, document preparation, and deadlines.
  • Offer personalized support to help students choose programs aligned with their goals.

3. Marketing & Promotion

  • Promote academic programs through digital marketing, social media, webinars, and email campaigns.
  • Create promotional content such as presentations, brochures, or informational sessions.
  • Represent institutions professionally at education fairs, online events, and community outreach activities.

4. Application Management

  • Assist students in submitting complete, high-quality applications.
  • Maintain accurate records of inquiries, applications, and conversions.
  • Track each applicant’s progress and provide regular updates to partnering institutions.

5. Relationship Building

  • Establish and maintain relationships with schools, counselors, community organizations, and educational partners.
  • Serve as the point of contact between students and institutions, ensuring smooth communication.
  • Collaborate with admissions teams to understand recruitment priorities and program updates.

6. Reporting & Performance Tracking

  • Provide weekly/monthly updates on outreach activities, leads, and enrollment outcomes.
  • Analyze recruitment data to optimize strategies and improve conversion rates.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Sales and marketing mindset with the ability to meet enrollment targets.
  • Knowledge of education systems, admissions processes, and international study pathways (if applicable).
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple clients, and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems, social media, and online recruitment tools.
  • Cultural sensitivity and professionalism when working with diverse student populations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Marketing, Business, Communications, or related fields.
  • Experience in student recruitment, admissions, educational consulting, or sales.
  • Experience in international student recruitment (optional but valuable).
  • Multilingual skills considered an advantage.

Work Conditions

  • Freelance/independent contractor role.
  • Flexible schedule; work may include evenings or weekends depending on student availability.
  • Remote, in-person, or hybrid work depending on client needs.
  • May work with multiple institutions concurrently.

Pay: ₹48,000.00 - ₹55,000.00 per month
