Student Counselor

Job Overview:

We are looking for a highly motivated and empathetic Student Counselor with 1-2 years of experience in the study abroad consultancy sector. In this role, you will guide students through the process of studying abroad, helping them choose the right programs, institutions, and countries that align with their academic and career goals. You will be responsible for offering personalized counseling, assisting with application procedures, and providing continuous support throughout the entire study abroad journey.

Key Responsibilities:

• Student Counseling: Provide one-on-one counseling to students seeking to study abroad, offering advice on program selection, university admissions, and visa processes.
• Program and Institution Guidance: Help students explore and choose study abroad programs, identifying the best fit based on their academic background, career goals, and personal preferences.
• Application Assistance: Assist students with the preparation and submission of application documents, including personal statements, CVs, and letters of recommendation.
• Visa Guidance: Guide students through the visa application process, ensuring that they meet all necessary requirements for their destination country.
• Cultural Preparation: Help students prepare for the cultural aspects of living and studying abroad, including information about the local culture, lifestyle, and practical tips.
• Follow-up Support: Maintain contact with students after their departure to ensure a smooth transition and provide ongoing assistance when needed.
• Collaboration: Work closely with partner universities, educational institutions, and other stakeholders to stay updated on program offerings and application procedures.
• Record Maintenance: Maintain accurate records of student interactions, applications, and progress to ensure a seamless experience for each student.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in any field (preferred)
• Experience: 1-2 years of experience in student counseling or guidance in a study abroad consultancy environment (preferred)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From ₹20,000.00 per month
