Structure Design

Job Description: As a Structure Design Engineer at Hero Motocorp, you will be responsible for visualizing and generating feasible design concepts in 3D/2D, taking into account weight/cost targets. Your role will involve developing fabricated parts for new models, multi-sourcing existing parts, validating part fitment, and conducting Pilot Production trials for mass production of new models. Key Responsibilities: - Suggest VA/VE ideas to reduce product material cost - Design chassis systems layout, all parts, and finalize layout - Engage in concept visualization and 3D/2D best practices - Conduct vendor evaluation for technical and process capability - Prepare design manuals Qualification Required: - BE/BTech/ME/M.Tech in Mechanical/Automotive Engineering from a renowned Institute - RnD Automotive experience preferred - Experience in seeing through a design project from concept to production - Knowledge of advance surfacing, 3D modeling, and 2D drawing in Catia V5/Any CAD tool - Good understanding of DFM/DFS/FMEA and GD&T - Knowledge of required manufacturing processes in frame design - Component and subsystem level understanding - Ability to work independently on small design projects/problems - Proficiency in project planning and material selection (Note: Additional details about the company have been omitted as per the provided instructions.)
