Structural Engineer

Preferred candidate profile: Position Name - Structure Engineer Education - B.Tech - (Mechanical) /M.Tech - (Structur) Experience - 5-9 Years Prepare structural design criteria documents. Perform Structural analysis-stress/strength/stability/serviceability calculations, seismic analysis, non-linear analysis, fatigue analysis, vibration checks, lifting and transport analysis, heat transfer analysis/Thermal analysis, Failure Analysis etc. performing structural connection designs (welded/bolted), lifting lug designs, according to the criteria and applicable design codes, standards, project requirements. Optimize structural design weights to save materials as compared to budget, right material selections and applications. Arrange Design reviews, maintain records and close assigned actions. Prepare Design Data input to detail design team based on calculation output. Prepare structural design calculation reports for 3rd party approval. Reviews basic, detail design models, drawings from structural design perspective. Compliance with company work practices and processes, maintain documentation as per process. requirements, ensure all input required for carrying out design work, manage hold items, report work progress status, meet schedule requirements, ensure high quality of work, productivity. Attend Customer / Consultant queries regarding structural calculations during design, manufacturing, construction. Disposal of shop / site feedback, Non-conformances, supplier change requests related to structural engineering. Other Requirements Plated elements / beam element structure design experience, nonlinear FEM analysis Handson experience in ANSYS software, STAAD pro software, structural connection design tools, Microsoft excel using macros. Familiarity in Eurocode, American codes related to structural engineering and materials 3D Model review tools (Cadmatic/E3D/Navisworks/Trimble connect, AutoCAD) Good spoken and written English communication skills Co-operation capabilities in global organization Proactive and systematic approach to work with high ownership and responsibility of results Problem solving attitude High personal integrity and ethical standards
