Structural Draftsman/woman

As a Structural Drafter, you will be responsible for creating detailed structural drawings using software such as AutoCAD and Revit. Your key responsibilities will include: - Proficiently using AutoCAD, Revit, and other drafting software to produce accurate drawings. - Applying your strong understanding of structural design principles, building codes, and industry standards to ensure the drawings meet requirements. - Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications with precision. In addition to your technical skills, you will need to demonstrate: - Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in your work. - Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with engineers and team members. - The ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and handle multiple projects simultaneously. - Knowledge of 3D modeling and experience with BIM (Building Information Modeling) would be advantageous. Qualifications required for this role include a Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field. Ideal candidates will have 3-5 years of professional experience in structural drafting, including hands-on experience with detailed structural drawings and working closely with structural engineers. Please note that the company prefers candidates with a minimum of 2 years of experience in structural drafting and a secondary (10th Pass) education level.
