As a structural drafter, you will be required to demonstrate proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant drafting software to create detailed structural drawings. Your role will involve applying a strong understanding of structural design principles, building codes, and industry standards while interpreting engineering drawings and specifications accurately. Your attention to detail and accuracy will be crucial in ensuring the quality of the structural drawings you prepare. Effective communication skills are essential as you collaborate with engineers and other team members. The ability to work independently, manage time efficiently across multiple projects, and adhere to project deadlines is key to success in this role. A background in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field at the Bachelors level is required for this position. Ideally, you should possess 3-5 years of professional experience in structural drafting, including hands-on experience in creating detailed structural drawings and collaborating with structural engineers. Knowledge of 3D modeling and Building Information Modeling (BIM) would be advantageous in this role. The position is full-time and permanent, emphasizing the long-term commitment expected from the successful candidate. While a Secondary (10th Pass) education is preferred, a minimum of 2 years of experience in structural drafting is required.
