Structural Draftsman

As a Civil Design professional, you will be responsible for preparing detailed drawings for steel structures and components using CAD software. This includes creating accurate 2D structural drawings for RCC members such as columns, beams, slabs, and footings using AutoCAD. You will collaborate closely with engineers and project managers to gather information and specifications, ensuring compliance with industry standards, regulations, and project requirements. Your role will also involve reviewing and interpreting engineering drawings, performing quality checks on drawings, and resolving any design issues that arise during the construction process. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare detailed drawings for steel structures and components using CAD software. - Create accurate 2D structural drawings for RCC members using AutoCAD. - Collaborate with engineers and project managers to gather information and specifications. - Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and project requirements. - Review and interpret engineering drawings. - Perform quality checks on drawings to ensure accuracy and completeness. - Apply drafting standards consistently across all drawings and maintain drawing templates. - Maintain records and document of all drawings and revisions. - Ensure timely delivery of drawings with attention to detail and quality. - Resolve any design issues that arise during the construction process. Qualifications: - Associate degree in Drafting, Engineering Technology, or a related field. - Certification in CAD preferred. - Minimum of 2 years of experience in steel detailing or a related field. - Strong understanding of engineering principles and construction processes. - Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. - Good communication and collaboration skills.
