Structural Draftsman

As a Civil Design professional, your role will involve preparing detailed drawings for steel structures and components using CAD software. You will be responsible for creating accurate 2D structural drawings for RCC members such as columns, beams, slabs, footings, etc. in AutoCAD. Collaboration with engineers and project managers to gather information and specifications will be a key part of your responsibilities. Ensuring compliance with industry standards, regulations, and project requirements is crucial. You will also review and interpret engineering drawings, perform quality checks to maintain accuracy, and apply drafting standards consistently across all drawings. Keeping records of drawings and revisions, and delivering drawings timely with attention to detail and quality are essential. Additionally, you will be expected to resolve any design issues that may arise during the construction process. Qualifications: - Associate degree in Drafting, Engineering Technology, or a related field. - Certification in CAD is preferred. - Minimum of 2 years of experience in steel detailing or a related field. - Strong understanding of engineering principles and construction processes. - Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. - Good communication and collaboration skills.
