Structural Designer – Civil RCC & Structures

Job Summary

We are seeking a Structural Designer with proven experience in Industrial Civil RCC and Steel Structures (2D design & detailing). The role involves preparing and reviewing structural drawings, guiding the drafting team, and ensuring timely, high-quality deliverables as per project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review 2D drawings, GA layouts, and detailed RCC & steel structure drawings.
• Supervise and guide a team of draftsmen, ensuring accuracy and compliance with standards.
• Coordinate with civil, mechanical, piping, and electrical teams for drawing interfaces and clash resolution.
• Review vendor and construction drawings and provide technical clarifications to site teams.
• Ensure all drawings meet project specifications, quality standards, and applicable codes.
• Optimize detailing for ease of fabrication & construction.
• Mentor drafting team for continuous skill development and efficiency.

Required Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of RCC & steel structure detailing (industrial foundations, pipe racks, buildings, tanks, silos, etc.).
• Proficiency in 2D drafting tools such as AutoCAD.
• Familiarity with IS codes & detailing standards for industrial civil works.
• Ability to lead, coordinate, and mentor a team of designers/drafters.
• Good communication and team collaboration skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Civil / Structural Engineering.
• 5+ years of relevant industrial experience in RCC & steel structure detailing.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
