Strategic SCM - Engineer (Capex & Spares)

Role Overview: As a Services & Capex Procurement Specialist, your main responsibility is to ensure the on-time availability of defect-free spares, work holding devices, and related services from both domestic and global suppliers. You will also be tasked with achieving proposed cost savings by negotiating and finding alternate suppliers. Key Responsibilities: - Implement cost-effective spare parts purchasing with fast delivery, reliable quality, and diverse suppliers. - Streamline orders by consolidating and standardizing orders for spare parts. - Work with TPM to ensure suitable and quality parts. - Identify, evaluate, and choose suppliers within the country and abroad that match quality and price criteria. - Negotiate with suppliers for lower prices, better contracts, and delivery terms. - Handle the entire procurement process from beginning to end. - Keep detailed records of purchases, including costs, contracts, and supplier performance, to facilitate future decisions and improvements. - Build and maintain strong relationships with local and worldwide suppliers, including those offering OEM and spare parts. - Regularly evaluate supplier performance to strive for betterment and teamwork. - Collaborate with suppliers on developing alternate products and cost-saving measures for mutual benefit.
