As a Strategic Adoption Senior Engineer at Barclays, you will lead the design of Agentic AI tools to solve mission-critical migration problems. Your role involves providing technical guidance, mentorship, and support for the delivery of high-quality software solutions. You will drive technical excellence, foster a culture of innovation, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to align technical decisions with business objectives. **Key Responsibilities:** - Utilize programming languages such as Python, R, or Java to design, build, and deploy AI solutions using key technologies like Gitlab Duo and AWS Bedrock. - Provide technical leadership to resolve complex issues and have hands-on experience with Python and machine learning frameworks. - Familiarity with industry-wide solutions and large learning models (LLMs) such as GTP, Claude, Deepseek, Gemini. - Experience in using NLP techniques, AI platforms, and designing Agentic AI agents. - Ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, strong problem-solving skills, and collaboration with cross-functional teams for integrating AI solutions into products and services. - Conduct research to advance AI and machine learning, analyze and interpret complex data sets, and optimize AI models for performance and scalability. **Qualifications Required:** - Expert level proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Java. - Experience with Python and machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn). - Familiarity with industry-wide solutions and large learning models. - Ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. - Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
