STP technician

Responsibilities:

• Support fabrication, assembly, installation, and commissioning of pre-fabricated Sewage Treatment Plants (STP).
• Operate, monitor, and maintain STP equipment, including pumps, blowers, motors, and control panels.
• Conduct routine inspections and performance checks on sewage treatment processes such as aeration, filtration, and sludge management.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues and carry out preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure reliable operation.
• Ensure compliance with all environmental, health, and safety standards.
• Maintain daily operation logs, record system performance data, and prepare regular reports.

Requirements:

• Qualification: ITI or Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, or relevant trade.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in pre-fabricated STP.
• Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of pumps, motors, blowers, control panels. Water treatment processes knowledge is optional.
• Additional Skills: Ability to safely handle chemical dosing, sludge management, and maintenance of compact or modular STP units.
• Soft Skills: Good communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
