STP Technician

In this role, you will be responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining STP equipment such as pumps, blowers, motors, and control panels. You will also be conducting routine checks on sewage treatment processes including aeration, filtration, and sludge management. As part of your duties, troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues, performing preventive maintenance, ensuring compliance with environmental and safety standards, and maintaining daily logs to report system performance will be crucial. Qualifications required for this position include an ITI/Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, or a relevant trade, along with a minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in STP plant operations. You should possess knowledge of pumps, motors, control panels, and water treatment processes. Additionally, the ability to handle chemical dosing and sludge management safely is essential. Being flexible for shift-based on-site work is also a requirement.
