STP Technician

As an STP Operator, you will be responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining STP equipment including pumps, blowers, motors, and control panels. Your day-to-day tasks will include conducting routine checks on sewage treatment processes such as aeration, filtration, and sludge management. In case of any mechanical or electrical issues, you will troubleshoot and perform preventive maintenance to ensure smooth operations. It will be crucial for you to ensure compliance with environmental and safety standards while maintaining daily logs and reporting system performance accurately. Key Responsibilities: - Operate, monitor, and maintain STP equipment including pumps, blowers, motors, and control panels. - Conduct routine checks on sewage treatment processes (aeration, filtration, sludge management). - Troubleshoot mechanical/electrical issues and perform preventive maintenance. - Ensure compliance with environmental and safety standards. - Maintain daily logs and report system performance. Qualifications Required: - ITI/Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, or relevant trade. - 2+ years of hands-on experience with STP plant operations. - Knowledge of pumps, motors, control panels, and water treatment processes. - Ability to handle chemical dosing and sludge management safely. - Flexibility for shift-based on-site work.
