STP & RO Plant operator

As a Plant Operator, your responsibilities will include: - Operating and monitoring Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) and Reverse Osmosis (RO) Plant on a daily basis. - Recording and maintaining parameters such as pH, TDS, BOD, COD, TSS, Flow rate, etc. - Starting and shutting down blowers, pumps, valves, and dosing systems following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). - Conducting backwashing, membrane flushing, and dosing as required. - Ensuring that treated water quality meets the prescribed limits as per PCB norms. - Managing the inlet and outlet water parameters in the RO and STP Plant. - Handling water disposal in the garden according to GPCB guidelines. In terms of Preventive & Routine Maintenance, you will be responsible for: - Performing basic cleaning, greasing, and tightening of mechanical parts. - Checking and replacing filters, resins, and chemical levels as needed. - Coordinating with technicians for motor, pump, and panel servicing. When it comes to Chemical Handling, your tasks will involve: - Safely handling and dosing coagulants, disinfectants, and pH correction chemicals. - Maintaining chemical usage logs and ensuring proper storage and labeling. - Adhering to the correct Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) protocol while dealing with hazardous substances. Regarding Reporting & Documentation, you will be accountable for: - Maintaining daily logbooks, shift reports, and maintenance records. - Assisting in the preparation of monthly performance reports. - Reporting any abnormalities, breakdowns, or alarm conditions to supervisors promptly. In terms of Safety & Compliance, it is essential that you: - Adhere to all safety protocols, including confined space, electrical, and chemical safety. - Always wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for your safety and well-being.,
