STP Operator

As a Water Treatment Plant Operator, you will be responsible for the following key tasks: - Operating pumps, blowers, aerators, and treatment units - Monitoring treatment processes such as screens, aeration tanks, clarifiers, filters, etc. - Checking and recording parameters like pH, TSS, BOD, COD, DO - Collecting water samples and coordinating lab testing - Adding chemicals (chlorine, alum, polymers) as required - Identifying and troubleshooting equipment/process issues - Maintaining logbooks and daily operation reports - Ensuring compliance with PCB / environmental norms - Performing basic housekeeping and safety compliance in the plant To qualify for this position, you should have: - ITI / Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or Environmental (preferred) - Hands-on experience in STP/ETP operations - Basic knowledge of pumps, motors, valves, and piping - Ability to read meters and understand treatment flow Additionally, the company offers health insurance and Provident Fund benefits for this full-time position.
