We are currently seeking a responsible and detail-oriented Store Keeper to manage our inventory of mechanical parts, tools, and raw materials.

Job Responsibilities:

• Receive, inspect, and verify mechanical parts, raw materials, and tools against purchase orders and delivery notes.
• Maintain accurate inventory records using ERP or inventory management systems.
• Ensure proper storage and labeling of items according to size, material type, and usage.
• Monitor stock levels of consumables, fasteners, spares, and key components; initiate reorder processes as needed.
• Issue materials and tools to production teams based on job requirements and work orders.
• Perform regular stock audits, reconciliations, and reporting.
• Ensure proper handling of sensitive/mechanical components and prevent damage or loss.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe store area.
• Coordinate with procurement, quality control, and production departments to ensure efficient operations.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or ITI; diploma in mechanical or related field preferred.
• 2+ years of experience as a store keeper in a mechanical or manufacturing environment.
• Good understanding of mechanical components, fasteners, and fabrication materials.
• Familiarity with inventory software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Tally, etc.).
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Basic computer proficiency (MS Excel, Word).
• Physically fit and able to lift/move heavy items when required.

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of safety protocols for handling industrial and mechanical materials.
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings (a plus).
• Good communication skills and teamwork attitude.
