Store Keeper/Manager

As an event manager, your responsibilities will include planning the layout and setup of the venue, which involves determining the placement of tables, chairs, and cutlery. You will also be in charge of staffing, where you will plan the number of staff required, including waiters, servers, and banquet captains. Managing finances is another crucial aspect of your role, including budgeting, monitoring expenses, and ensuring that the event remains within budget constraints. Your duties will extend to overseeing the event itself, ensuring that all customer needs are met, and delivering a memorable experience for all attendees. Collaborating with the chef to manage food and beverage offerings, briefing them on meal courses, and handling beverage requests will also be part of your daily tasks. Additionally, you will be responsible for managing the sales contract terms, supervising staff, training, scheduling, hiring, and potentially firing employees as needed. Maintaining documentation by ensuring schedules and timelines are accurately recorded and complying with local laws and regulations are also essential components of this role. You will need to brief staff and inspect the room setup before each event and ensure that the room is prepared for subsequent events.
