As a Material Store Supervisor, your role involves receiving, inspecting, and recording all incoming materials as per delivery challans. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate stock records through manual or software-based systems. Issuing materials to the site as per material requisitions will be a key task, along with monitoring stock levels and coordinating with procurement for timely replenishment. Conducting regular stock audits, maintaining inventory reports, and ensuring proper storage of materials to prevent damage or loss will be crucial aspects of your job. Additionally, maintaining safety, cleanliness, and order in the store area, as well as coordinating with site engineers, vendors, and transporters for timely delivery, will be part of your responsibilities. Keeping documentation ready for internal/external audits is also a key duty.
