About the Role

Stores Executive

Roles & Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and issue materials as per project requirements.
• Maintain accurate records of material receipts, issues, and stock levels using manual registers and/or software
• Coordinate with project engineers, purchase teams, and vendors for timely material delivery.
• Ensure proper storage, stacking, labeling, and preservation of materials on-site.
• Conduct regular stock audits and report discrepancies.
• Prepare daily/weekly reports on material usage and inventory status
• Manage inward/outward movement of materials, tools, and equipment.
• Adhere to safety and quality standards in material handling.
• Support project team with documentation related to GRNs, indents, and stock reconciliation.
  

Mandatory Requirements

• 25 years of relevant experience in

  storekeeping/stores management

  at

  construction/civil project sites

  .
• Familiarity with construction materials, tools, and consumables.
• Working knowledge of storekeeping processes, GRNs, indents, and inventory systems.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and basic ERP or inventory management software.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently at project sites under minimal supervision.
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Materials Management, or a related field.
• Prior experience in residential, infrastructure, or commercial construction projects is preferred.
• Knowledge of basic accounting and documentation related to inventory and stores.
