Store Assistant

Responsibilities

Receiving & Inspection

• Verify incoming materials: Check deliveries against purchase orders or invoices to confirm quantity, quality, and identify any damage or discrepancies.
• Document receipts: Sign off on delivery documents and update inventory records to reflect incoming stock.

Storage & Organization

• Proper storage: Arrange and store materials systematically in appropriate locations to ensure easy access, identification, and to prevent damage or loss.
• Inventory control: Organize shelves, implement clear labeling, and potentially use a bin or rack system for efficient space utilization.
• Safety: Ensure stored materials are kept in a clean, organized, and safe environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.

Inventory & Record Keeping

• Maintain accurate records: Keep detailed logs of all material movements, including entry and exit registers and inventory records.
• Stock checks & reconciliation: Conduct regular physical stock counts and cycle counts to verify book balances against actual stock, ensuring data accuracy.
• Report stock levels: Report stock levels and any shortages to management, initiating requisitions for reordering when necessary.

Material Issuance

• Issue materials: Dispense materials to workers and other departments only against authorized requisition notes or material lists.
• Coordinate with site teams: Work closely with site supervisors and project teams to ensure the correct materials are available when needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to ₹20,000.00 per month
