Job Title: Store and SMD Helper

Job Overview: The Store and SMD Helper will be responsible for supporting the storage, organization, and handling of electronic components, especially Surface Mount Devices (SMD). This includes ensuring that parts are available for production, assisting with inventory control, and helping with the preparation of SMD components for assembly. The helper will work closely with warehouse and production teams to maintain smooth operations and ensure the accuracy and quality of components being used in manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inventory Management:
• Assist in receiving, sorting, and storing electronic components, particularly SMD components, in the warehouse.
• Maintain an organized inventory of SMD components and other materials, ensuring items are easy to locate.
• Help monitor stock levels and inform the supervisor of low stock or discrepancies.
• Component Handling and Preparation:
• Prepare and organize SMD components for use by the assembly team, ensuring they are clean, properly packaged, and ready for use.
• Assist in counting and labeling components accurately for assembly lines.
• Help verify components' part numbers and quantities to ensure correctness.
• Quality Control:
• Check incoming components for defects or damage and report any issues to the supervisor.
• Assist in performing basic quality checks on stored SMD components to ensure they meet industry standards.
• Order Fulfillment:
• Assist with picking and packing components for outgoing orders or production needs.
• Ensure components are accurately matched to work orders and production schedules.
• General Warehouse Duties:
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in the store/warehouse area.
• Assist in the labeling and documentation of inventory and orders.
• Assist with shipping and receiving as needed.
• Communication & Coordination:
• Work closely with production teams, providing timely information about component availability.
• Assist in resolving any issues or discrepancies related to inventory or component needs.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Basic understanding of electronic components, especially SMD parts.
• Ability to follow instructions and work well in a team environment.
• Attention to detail for accurate counting and organization of parts.
• Good organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks.
• Ability to safely handle and store electronic components.
• Prior experience in warehouse or production environments (preferred, but not required).

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and carry light to moderate loads (e.g., boxes of components).
• Standing, walking, and moving items throughout the warehouse as required.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
