CI/CD DevOps Engineer (Software Developer) Job Responsibilities:
Understand and manage version control processes related to software releases and code repositories, ensuring proper tracking of code changes.
Work closely with developers, release leads, and project managers to support the release engineering process, helping to plan and coordinate software or application releases.
Assist in automating the build, packaging, and deployment of software using scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or PowerShell, and tools like Jenkins, Git, or similar CI/CD platforms.
Identify, debug, and resolve common issues related to software compilation, packaging, and deployment failures.
Support continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines by helping implement automated workflows for faster and more reliable software delivery.
Participate in troubleshooting activities, providing timely support to resolve build and deployment issues under guidance from senior engineers.
Document processes, build steps, and deployment instructions to ensure smooth handover and reproducibility of releases.

Proven development and/or DevOps experience deploying and maintaining multi-tiered infrastructure and applications.
2+ years of strong hands-on experience in Windows/Linux/Unix/AIX and Cloud native environment Hands-on experience in scripting and programming languagesShell, Perl, Python, GoLangExposure in designing and implementing collaborated solutions on Cloud and DevOpsStrong experience in automating Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery and Agile practices for a highly scalable system. Perform analysis of the current practices and design and implement best practices and emerging concepts in CI/CD landscape.Experience with Docker, Microservices and container deployment and service orchestrationYum Repos InstallationInstallShield Application knowledge (windows)InstallAnywere Application knowledge (Unix/Linux/Windows)Native OS packaging knowledge (AIX, MAC, Linux, HP, Solaris)Experience with configuration management tools as Ansible/ Chef/Puppet - Preferred AnsibleExperience with Infrastructure automation (Terraform, Cloud formation)Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and the ELK stack is essential.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Extensive 2-5 years of experience in CI/CD, build, and installation for enterprise-level products.Virtualization and/or CloudAWS-Code Pipeline, Azure-DevOps-ServicesMust have excellent communication skills and technical writing skills (Communicate technical design through diagrams, documents, and presentations)Ability to work with a variety of cross-functional teams to develop automation with services and for required tools.Be an advocate for DevOps mindset and culture, collaboration, flexibility, cross-domain knowledge, sharing, and be a self-driven individual who can understand requirements, develop, and coach others as needed.
