Experience: 10.0 to 15.0 Years LLocation: Mumbai Job Description: **Job Title: Senior Storage and Backup Administrator*Manages the storage for hosting EIS 2.0 workloads on the virtualized platform (Private Cloud), ensuring data replication across DC and DR for business continuity Designing, configuring, and maintaining storage infrastructure to meet organizational needs Setting up backup systems, scheduling regular backups, and ensuring successful completion Monitoring storage capacity, performing system updates, and carrying out maintenance tasks ### We are seeking an experienced Storage and Backup Administrator with a strong background in the banking domain. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, focusing on storage management, backup solutions, and data protection strategies. Additionally, the candidate should be well-versed in Agile methodologies to facilitate collaborative and efficient workflow within our team. Key Responsibilities:- Storage Management: Design, implement, and maintain robust storage solutions to ensure optimal performance and reliability. -Backup Solutions: Develop and manage comprehensive backup and recovery solutions, ensuring data integrity and availability. - Data Security & Compliance: Ensure that all storage and backup solutions adhere to industry best practices and compliance regulations relevant to the banking sector. - Performance Monitoring: Regularly analyze system performance, identifying and resolving bottlenecks and improving efficiency. - Disaster Recovery: Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans, conducting regular testing to ensure systems can be restored quickly and completely. - Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers and project managers, to implement Agile practices and facilitate smooth project delivery. - Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of storage configurations, backup procedures, and system operations. - Troubleshooting: Provide advanced troubleshooting and support for storage and backup-related issues, ensuring minimal downtime for critical systems. - Training & Mentorship: Act as a mentor for junior team members, providing guidance on best practices in storage management and backup strategies. Qualifications:10+ years of relevant experience in storage and backup administration, with a focus on the banking domain.
