Job Description

1 Engineer (Preferably worked on heterogeneous environment As a Storage & UNIX Administrator the resource will work as part of a highly technical team of professionals who support the heterogeneous Environment across sites with complex networks. The resource will utilize his strong technical background and related experience to positively contribute to the department's goals and vision for advancing NetApp network & system infrastructure. To be successful the resource would need a strong technical orientation; be a creative problem solver; have excellent customer service skills; have a desire to advance in the field; and work well in a team-oriented environment Seasoned System Administrator who has worked in Unix flavours and Storage Area Multi-level technical support for diagnosing, reproducing, and fixing software and hardware issues such as NFS, the UNIX remote file sharing protocol; CIFS, the Wintel environment's, remote file sharing protocol; Cloud Technologies including Kubernetes, AWS, Azure, GCP. Perform configuration on NetApp Filers Including management of NFS, CIFS, LUN Management (iSCSI & FCP). Add disk as needed to existing systems. Allocate shares/storage to new servers as needed. Maintain reports on disk utilization, availability and growth patterns System administration skills in either Solaris or AIX or Unix, plus experience with either Windows or Linux systems. NetApp products like FAS2000 series ,FAS3000 series, FAS6000 series, Data fabric Manager, SAN Technology like iSCSI, iFCP, FCP. Working knowledge of Filer NDMP backup Has applied knowledge of DAS, NAS, SAN, McData Fiber Channel Switches, Brocade Switches Working across in 24/7 Support environment along with working with various global teams.
