STEM/Robotics Trainer

As an Academic Facilitator (STEM/Robotics Trainer) at Kidvento in Mysore, you will play a crucial role in inspiring and guiding school students in the field of STEM education. Your primary responsibility will be to conduct interactive sessions on STEM and Robotics, making complex concepts accessible and exciting for the students. Utilizing your strong foundation in coding, electronics, IoT, and robotics, you will engage students in hands-on activities with robots, drones, and science projects. Your key responsibilities will include teaching robotics, coding, and 3D printing using practical, project-based approaches, guiding students in STEM competitions and innovation challenges, developing lesson plans that ignite curiosity and problem-solving skills, and maintaining robotics kits, drones, and lab equipment. Collaborating with school faculty, you will enhance and integrate STEM education programs into existing curriculums, conduct coding activities, mentor students in coding and technology, and ensure a safe and supportive lab environment. To excel in this role, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Education, or a related field, with prior teaching or mentoring experience in STEM/Robotics preferred. Strong hands-on experience with Arduino, microcontrollers, drones, AI, and coding platforms is essential. Proficiency in Python, web/app development, and electronics will be beneficial. Your ability to simplify complex topics for young learners, coupled with excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, will contribute to fostering a positive and inclusive classroom culture. A passion for education, innovation, and inspiring the next generation of problem solvers is key to succeeding in this position. You should be willing to learn new technologies, participate in ongoing professional development, and stay current with trends in coding, robotics, and STEM education. Assessing student progress, providing constructive feedback, and adjusting instruction to meet diverse learning needs are also part of your responsibilities.
