Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

Design steel structures using software such as ETABS, Staad Pro, Tekla Structures, REVIT Structure, AutoCAD, Navisworks.
Prepare detailed drawings and layouts for various types of steel structures (industrial buildings).
Conduct site visits to inspect construction progress and ensure compliance with design specifications.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve design-related issues and improve project outcomes.
Develop expertise in relevant building codes and regulations to ensure structural integrity.

Proficiency in structural analysis and design software (e.g., STAAD.Pro, Idea Statica, Tekla, AutoCAD). Proficiency in Indian Codes viz. IS-800, IRC 22, IRC 24, IRS Steel Bridge Code, IS 456, IRC 112 etc. Proficiency in dynamic analysis of structures.

Ability to prepare detailed design calculations and Structural drawings.

Experience in coordinating with clients, consultants, and fabrication teams.

Desired Candidate Profile

2-5 years of experience in structural design engineering or a related field.
Diploma/B.Tech/B.E. degree from a recognized institution.
Proficiency in at least two software tools: ETABS, Staad Pro, Tekla Structures, REVIT Structure, AutoCAD, Navisworks.
