Steel Foundry Planning Engineer

Job Description

Develop and manage production plans based on customer orders and capacity. Coordinate with melting, molding, fettling, machining, and quality teams for smooth workflow. Monitor raw material availability, WIP status, and finished goods inventory. Track progress of production orders and adjust schedules to accommodate any delays or breakdowns. Prepare daily and weekly production reports, highlighting variances and corrective actions. Use ERP systems to manage job orders, bills of materials, and resource planning. Collaborate with the dispatch team to ensure timely delivery of products. Identify and address bottlenecks in the production process to improve efficiency.
