We are a Product Design Studio in Gurgaon seeking a Production Manager to head our production and fabrication unit (dealing mainly in Stainless steel and other metals like MS, brass, copper). We have a team of 20 people in the fabrication unit. Large bespoke items are designed and made. No mass production, hence each project is different. Key Responsibilities: Lead and Oversee all the operations and manpower of the unit. Supervise metal and wood fabrication processes, including Stainless Steel, Mild Steel (MS), Aluminum, Brass, and Copper. Ensure quality control in welding, polishing, lathe operations, fitting, and other fabrication techniques. Collaborate with the design team to optimize product designs . Oversee material procurement and outsourcing while maintaining quality standards. Troubleshoot production challenges and ensure seamless operations. Make flow chart for efficient production Handle workers. Give relevant inputs of new technology, machines and workers. Requirements: Should have good knowledge of working with metal especially stainless steel Should understand and have working experience / knowledge of processes like welding, buffing, lathe, polishiong, rolling, casting, laser cutting, etching, etc. Should have some knowledge of wood/ply/board (as these are used to make moulds, packaging, componenets etc) Should have experience of leading and handling a team Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, and techniques . Proficiency in English for effective communication. Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills . Minimum 10 years of experience in fabrication and production supervision.
