Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Candidate will need to advise which are the suitable statistical tests for a particular academic research
Research could be in Engineering, Management, Life Sciences or Social Sciences
The candidate should have good conceptual knowledge about which statistical tests are applicable based on the type of data
The candidate should be well versed with SPSS and should be able to apply tests for descriptive analysis, inferential analysis and predictive analysis
Time series analysis and knowledge of econometrics is added advantage
Knowledge of R, Stata and AMOS will be an added advantage
The candidate should be explain the findings/results of the statistical tests
Test like Factor Analysis, Chi-Square, Anova, Mancova, and Logistic Regression must be well known

Preferred candidate profile

An ideal candidate will be M.Sc Statistics with a deep understanding of when to apply which statistical tests and should have experience in working with SPSS.
Knowledge of MS Excel, STATA shall be added advantage.
