Role Overview: You are a data-driven Statistician supporting advanced analytics in the solar energy sector. Your main responsibilities include analyzing large datasets using SQL, applying statistical techniques for project performance assessment, and generating insights to optimize operational efficiency. Ideal candidates will have a strong statistical background and domain experience in energy or engineering data. Key Responsibilities: - Analyze solar project flow, customer data, and operational efficiency using statistical methods like Bayesian inference, distribution modeling, and descriptive statistics. - Write complex SQL queries to extract, join, filter, and manipulate large datasets effectively. - Develop forecasts, trend analyses, and performance reports for internal decision-makers. - Collaborate with engineering, product, and operations teams to support data-informed strategies. - Ensure data validation, accuracy, consistency, and completeness in reporting. - Translate statistical outputs into clear, actionable recommendations for business stakeholders. Qualifications Required: - Bachelors or Masters degree in Statistics, Data Science, Industrial Engineering & Operations Research (IEOR), or a related quantitative field. - 3+ years of experience in a statistical or data analyst role. - Strong proficiency in SQL with the ability to write and explain optimized queries. - Effective communicator with strong data visualization skills using tools like Excel or BI tools.
