Job Description

As the State Operations Head, you will be responsible for overseeing end-to-end execution and operational performance in the assigned state. Your role will involve managing project installations, service delivery, vendor relationships, manpower allocation, customer satisfaction, and ensuring compliance with company standards and timelines. Key Responsibilities: - Lead and oversee all solar project operations in the state, covering both residential and commercial projects. - Supervise project planning, execution, and commissioning to meet defined timelines and budgets. - Manage the regional operations teams, including Project Managers, Site Engineers, and Technicians. - Ensure strict adherence to safety, quality, and compliance standards. - Maintain operational KPIs such as Turnaround Time (TAT), cost efficiency, and customer satisfaction levels. - Collaborate with central functions like design, procurement, logistics, and sales for seamless operations. - Handle vendor management and onboard local subcontractors for installations and maintenance activities. - Drive continuous process improvements to boost productivity and reduce project lead times. - Monitor the financial performance at the state level, focusing on project costs, profitability, and operational efficiency. - Address customer escalations promptly and ensure timely resolutions. - Develop and train the operations team to enhance capabilities for future scalability. Qualifications Required: - Education: B.E./B.Tech in Electrical / Mechanical / Civil Engineering (MBA preferred). - Experience: 6-8 years in solar or renewable energy project execution, with a minimum of 3 years in a leadership position. - Demonstrated track record in managing large-scale solar rooftop or utility operations. - Strong grasp of project management principles, safety protocols, and quality standards. - Excellent leadership qualities, effective communication skills, and adept stakeholder management abilities. - Proficiency in MS Excel, Project Management Tools, and CRM systems. - Willingness to travel across the state as per business requirements. Additionally, the job is a full-time, permanent position that requires in-person presence at the work location.
