Job Description

Job Summary:

Responsible for managing and overseeing credit appraisal, risk assessment, and policy implementation for Used Small & Light Commercial Vehicles (SLCV), Cars, Heavy Commercial Vehicles (HCV), and Construction Equipment (CE) portfolios across the state.

Key Responsibilities:

Evaluate and approve loan proposals within delegated authority for Used SLCV, Car, HCV & CE segments.
Ensure compliance with credit policy, risk parameters, and lending norms.
Conduct portfolio analysis and monitor delinquency trends to maintain portfolio quality.
Coordinate with sales and collections teams to ensure healthy business growth and controlled credit risk.
Guide and train branch credit officers on policy, underwriting standards, and documentation.
Support audits, credit reviews, and implement corrective actions as required.
Liaise with risk, operations, and policy teams for continuous process improvement.
Ensure timely turnaround of loan applications and maintain high-quality credit decisions.

Desired Candidate Profile:

Graduate/Postgraduate in Finance, Commerce, or Business Management.
5-10 years of credit experience in vehicle finance (SLCV, Car, HCV, CE).
Strong analytical, decision-making, and leadership skills.
Proficiency in financial analysis, risk assessment, and market understanding.
