State and Local Tax Associate

As a Weaver Associate, you will be part of a team that values collaboration, initiative, and effective communication. Key Responsibilities: - Utilize your experience in one of the following areas: Sales & Use tax, Property Tax, State Income Taxes/Income Franchise - Manage state and local tax assignments with 1-4 years of experience in a public accounting firm or similar industry - Hold a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field - Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills - Work effectively in a team and possess strong interpersonal skills - Showcase strong project management skills Preferred Qualifications: - Possess a Master's degree in Accounting or a related field - Be a CPA or CA Candidate, or have CPA, CA, EA, or CMI in progress or complete - Have internship or light experience in public accounting At Weaver, we believe in the diversity of our team members and the different strengths they bring.
