Start-Up Manager

As the Start-Up Management Lead, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful implementation of SuM practices for all capital projects. Your responsibilities will include thorough planning, execution, and integration of operational aspects to facilitate a smooth transition from project design to full operational capacity. In this role, you will work closely with plant operations, technical operations, and engineering teams to ensure the successful execution of projects, focusing on safety, food safety, quality, and continuous improvement. Your role will involve developing comprehensive Start-Up Management plans, managing SuM activities, coordinating with various teams, and implementing risk management and mitigation strategies. Additionally, you will lead the commissioning, qualification, and verification process to ensure equipment and systems meet design requirements and function correctly. You will also be responsible for promoting a strong safety culture, ensuring compliance with food safety and quality standards, and driving initiatives to improve health and safety management on-site. To be successful in this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in engineering, Operations Management, or a related field, along with a minimum of 5-7 years of experience in a manufacturing or operations environment, preferably in the food processing industry. Strong leadership, communication, project management, and problem-solving skills are essential, along with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
