Job Title: Factory Operations Engineer Department: Production & Operations Location: [Factory Location e.g., Gandimaisamma, Hyderabad] Reports To: Factory Operations Manager / Plant Head Job Summary: The Factory Operations Engineer is responsible for supporting the day-to-day manufacturing operations of Aluminum doors & windows. The role involves production planning, process supervision, quality monitoring, material coordination, and ensuring timely completion of orders as per the production plan. Key Responsibilities: 1. Production & Process Coordination Execute daily production activities as per the given plan. Supervise fabrication processes such as cutting, cleaning, crimping, assembly, and hardware fixing. Ensure that production is carried out as per design drawings and standard operating procedures (SOPs). Monitor productivity and support continuous improvement in operations. 2. Material & Inventory Handling Coordinate with the stores team for timely issue of profiles, hardware, and glass as per job orders. Check and verify materials before and after production. Record daily material consumption and report variances or wastages. Ensure proper utilization of offcuts and consumables. 3. Quality Monitoring Inspect components during fabrication and assembly to maintain product quality. Support QC team in performing dimensional checks, surface finish, and final inspection. Identify non-conformities, report defects, and assist in root cause analysis. Ensure reworks are minimized and preventive measures are implemented. 4. Dispatch & Coordination Prepare finished units for dispatch and ensure proper labeling and packing. Coordinate with dispatch and logistics teams for loading and delivery scheduling. Support in maintaining accurate production and dispatch records. 5. Machine & Maintenance Support Check operational condition of production machines (cutting, corner cleaning, etc.). Report any machine breakdowns or abnormalities to the maintenance team. Follow up on preventive maintenance schedules. 6. Documentation & Reporting Maintain daily production reports and material usage records. Assist in updating job cards, process sheets, and ERP entries (if applicable). Submit shift-wise or daily reports to the Production In-charge. Key Skills & Competencies: • Basic knowledge of UPVC/Aluminum fabrication and assembly process. • Understanding of manufacturing drawings and production flow. • Good coordination and communication skills. • Knowledge of quality inspection and measurement tools. • Team player with a proactive and learning attitude. • Working knowledge of MS Excel / ERP system preferred. Qualifications: • Diploma / B.Tech in Mechanical, Production, or Industrial Engineering. • 13 years of experience in UPVC / Aluminum doors & windows manufacturing or similar fabrication industry.
