Job Summary: The HR Culture Officer will lead and support initiatives that foster a strong organisational culture, employee engagement, and alignment with the core values of the healthcare organisation. This role partners with leaders and employees across departments to cultivate a respectful, inclusive, and values-driven workplace that enhances staff well-being, collaboration, and patient-centered care. Key Responsibilities: 1. Organisational Culture Development Promote and embed the organisations values and mission across all levels and departments. Develop and implement strategies to foster a positive, inclusive, and compassionate workplace culture. Conduct regular culture assessments and recommend actionable improvements. Support change management processes with a culture-first lens. 2. Employee Engagement Design and deliver employee engagement initiatives, including surveys, focus groups, and feedback sessions. Analyse engagement data and propose strategies to improve staff morale and retention. Collaborate with departments to implement tailored culture improvement plans. 3. Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Support DEI programs and ensure cultural competence across staff. Facilitate training on unconscious bias, inclusive practices, and respectful workplace behaviour. Partner with employee resource groups and stakeholders to support diverse staff populations. 4. Communication & Culture Advocacy Develop internal communications related to culture-building efforts. Act as a culture ambassador, representing HR at employee onboarding and other key events. Ensure leadership visibility and consistency in promoting desired cultural behaviours. 5. Training and Development Support Work with Learning & Development to embed values and culture in training programs. Support leadership development efforts focusing on cultural intelligence and people-centered leadership. 6. Recognition and Well-being Programs Develop recognition and reward systems aligned with cultural values. Champion employee wellness initiatives in coordination with Occupational Health. Orientation Exercise leadership responsibility over the practice of nursing in the hospital as a member of the Hospital Executive team to ensure consistency in practice standards, and to facilitate an interdisciplinary team approach to the delivery of care. Develop and articulate the vision and strategic directions for the practice of nursing; collaborate on implementation of strategies. Develop, articulate and facilitate implementation of nursing QI strategies. Direct the development of strategies to promote the recruitment, retention and recognition of excellence in Nursing. Participate in planning, implementation and evaluation of clinical programs and services; advise Chief Operating Officer, Chief Medical Director and others, concerning implication of Decisions and impact on the quality of patient care, nursing care practice and nursing care providers. Promote and facilitate a multi-disciplinary approach to patient care and coordination of care amount disciplines; ensure the patient care delivery models and standards of Nursing care practice are consistent with current professional standards and with the Mission, Vision, and Values of the Organization. Ensure that hospital waste is disposed of as per government & hospital guidelines. Cooperate with the authorities during emergencies in setting up special nursing. Select and secure proper equipment needed for nursing care. Submit proposel for equipment required for nursing care along with specifications. Attend to emergency calls. Visit hospital beyond duty hours. Look after the welfare of patients and their attenders. ePlan and implement staff development programme. Orientation programmes for new staff. Inservice education programme. Performance evaluation and guidance to staff members. Experimantation with new duty and staffing patterns. Polices, processes& Nursing Quality Standardization. Ensures that there is a program of continuous nurse education, which encompasses all levels of nursing staff and is designed to promote professional competence and provides a basis for individual professional development. Ensures appropriate nursing representation on committees and working parties as required ensuring a high quality of service and continuing quality development programs.
